| Dear Teacher, Thanks to a generous donation from Sibylla M. and Dr. Christoph M. Müller, we are able to offer, starting April 1, 2008, all guided tours and workshops for school classes in the exhibitions "Action Painting" and "Fernand Léger: Paris - New York" free of charge. Only the museum admission fee need be paid. We look forward to welcoming your school class at the Fondation Beyeler. For organizational and security reasons, however, the following guidelines must be observed when planning your visit. The arrangements will depend on the number of groups or individual visitors present in the museum in addition to your class. We hope you will appreciate that the number of groups admissible per day is limited. We wish you and your class an interesting and informative visit! |
| Rules of Registration |
| Written application Please submit a written application at least two weeks prior to your planned visiting day. The application should include the following information: Desired visiting date and time, number and age of pupils, number of accompanying persons, and school address in full. Please use the online-form (see below). If the desired date is no longer available, we will contact you in order to arrange an alternative date. Confirmation An application is valid only with confirmation in writing from the Fondation Beyeler. This confirmation should be presented unasked at the cashier’s desk on the day of your visit. Classes without Appointment Classes without prior appointment may find that they cannot be admitted to the museum if the school visiting dates are already engaged. Please note that if admission is neverthless possible, your class may have to wait some time, and that the full admission fee will still be due. Group Size A maximum of 25 pupils and two accompanying persons, and a maximum of two classes simultaneously, are admissible. Larger groups may visit the museum in shifts. Restriction During the art fair ART39 Basel (2 - 8 June 2008), no school visits are possible. Museum regulations Please consult our » Rules for Visitors. |
