OPEN HOUSE
The Fondation Beyeler Celebrates with its Visitors Sunday, 13 May 2007, 10.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m.

As a further highlight in our jubilee year, the Fondation Beyeler is holding a grand festival under the title OPEN HOUSE on 13 May. An abundant schedule of events awaits our visitors. From live lithography demonstrations with Samuel Buri, a graffiti workshop for young people, short tours through the Edvard Munch exhibition, artists’ films, and tours with our restorers, through a balloon contest, tightrope acrobatics with David Dimitri, to a live jazz trio, there will be entertainment and recreation opportunities galore. The festival is Fondation Beyeler’s way of thanking all our visitors for their appreciation and loyalty. The entire Fondation staff will be on hand to ensure that our guests feel at home and everything runs smoothly.

General Information
Admission to OPEN HOUSE is free to all. Unfortunately, no reservations can be accepted for individual events on the schedule or for the restaurant. In case of inclement weather, schedule changes are reserved. Should it rain, the following items on the agenda will not take place: David Dimitri in the Park; various outdoor workshops in the park (incl. graffiti). Jazz will be moved to the North Terrace. Guided tours of the museum will be given. e-mail: openhouse@beyeler.com.

Information Desk
An information desk is available in the museum foyer for visitors’ inquiries.
