			The Other Collection Homage to Hildy and Ernst Beyeler 19 August 2007 – 6 January 2008 The Fondation Beyeler plans to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its inauguration with a special exhibition. As Galerie Beyeler, where it all began, will have been in existence for sixty years in 2007, a selection of the finest works of art that have passed through its hands will be made, bringing a dialogue about and placing these works in the historical context of the museum’s collection. 			Edvard Munch – Signs of Modern Art 18 March – 15 July 2007 The Fondation Beyeler is devoting the first special exhibition in its jubilee year to the Norwegian painter and graphic artist Edvard Munch (1863–1944). This retrospective review focuses on Munch’s significance as predecessor and founder of Expressionism, and his essential and highly original contribution to the emergence of modern art.
